My personal experience with webhostingpad:

1. Downtime - X3 in 1 year;
2. Hacked - X2;
3. Domain renew problem - X1
(as registrars for my domain they didn't invoice me for the domain renewal causing me to lose the domain)
4. Account canceled for no reason - X1;
5. Web chat Support efficiency = 0
(all they did was to refer me to the ticketing system);
6. Mail support:Here how it goes: you sent a mail or submit a ticket. Wait for hours. Get useless reply. Send another mail. Repeat procedure 3 to 6 times. They finally acknowledge the problem therefore the fix is "only" 4 to 7 mails and a few hours away...

Stay away as far as you can from webhostingpad.

Subscribing to Host Monster is the equivalent of rolling a dice and hope for the best.

I had been with them for a bit more than 1 year now, as far as the features offered, technical support, user friendliness, I had no problem.

I have a business in the virtual World called Secondlife and was using a server to host my products and services. Earlier this week, I was the victim of a DDOS attack which made them lock my server and websites. Their answer?

They acknoledged that it was impossible for me to prevent or protect against a DDOS attack and that they way I was using their hosting was not violating their term of services.

However, they told me that a DDOS attack is rarely done randomly and that someone might dislike what I am doing with my websites, therefore, they are closing my account, my servers and showing me the door.

Following Host Monster's policies and logic, if you see someone being mugged and robbed in the street, please proceed to insult them for their weakness, he probably deserved it anyway.

I'm sorry but the logic just blows my mind. Wow.

I have recommended all of my clients to inmotion after got excellent experiences from them. I had been with them since 2002 and only two downtimes I can think of. The uptime is far much better than many services I have used. The uptime is very good but the support is still better. They were there all the times when I need the support. They have contacted me and got the problem solved almost immediately. Really recommended.

Our websites down twice a month without the exact answer from the support. We would not recommend them at all. Some of their tech supports are clearly not based in US and unable to fix those issues. A lot downtime is unacceptable at all.
